P.S. Chocolate Granola

Double chocolate paleo granola! Filled with an assortment of nuts and dark chocolate. Perfect for a snack or breakfast!



Ingredients 

1 cup almonds

1 cup pecans 

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup macadamia nuts or cashews 

1 tsp cinnamon 

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp coconut sugar 

1/4 cup coconut oil 

1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup 

1/4 cup almond butter 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1/2 cup chocolate chips


Directions 

1. Preheat oven to 325 

2. In a food processor, place the almonds, pecans, walnuts, and macadamia nuts and pulse a couple of times until a crumbly consistency. 

3. Transfer the nuts into a large bowl and add in the cinnamon, cocoa powder,coconut sugar and combine evenly. 

4. Place a small saucepan on low heat and add the almond butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup/honey and mix until smooth and combined. 

5. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla.

6. Pour wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until completely coated. 

7. Once completely coated pour in the chocolate chips 

8. Line a square baking sheet with parchment paper and pour mixture evenly on the pan.

9. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on the top:) 

10. Bake for 13 minutes 

11. Let cool completely or freeze for an hour before breaking it up or cutting into bars.
